Spiral Freezer Factory Acceptance Test Checklist
The checks run on a spiral belt freezer before it is packed, written so that your own engineer or an inspection agent can run them independently. Every row is either witnessed or recorded; a row that cannot be witnessed in the workshop is marked for the site acceptance instead.
The principle behind the sheet. A freezer is bought on paper and judged on a running line. The way to close that gap is to fix the acceptance criteria before the machine is built, using the same figures that went into the sizing, so nobody is negotiating criteria after the crate is open.
1. Documentation and configuration

2. Mechanical run

This belongs on the acceptance sheet, not buried in the maintenance manual |
3. Control system

4. Electrical verification

5. What moves to site acceptance
Thermal performance cannot be proven in a workshop without the refrigeration plant, the product and the room around it. Agree in writing which checks move to site, what product will be run, and how the core temperature will be measured, before the machine ships.
The row that saves the most argument. Write down, at order stage, the exact piece that will be used for the site acceptance run and the instrument that will measure its core. Acceptance disputes are almost never about the freezer; they are about whose piece and whose probe.
