The FDG range is rated at 10 kg/m². Higher densities raise batch size and lengthen the cycle at the same time.

How the numbers are worked out

| Cycles per day | 24 ÷ (cycle time + load and unload time) |
| Daily wet input | batch output × cycles per day |
| Finished product | daily wet input × solids yield |
The yield figure above assumes a 20 % solids recipe, which is a placeholder for your own number. Change it in your own arithmetic once you know the solids content of your recipe at discharge from pre-cooking.
What this calculator deliberately does not do
- It does not predict your cycle time. Cycle time comes from solids content, bed depth, tray geometry, shelf temperature, chamber pressure and the endpoint definition.
- It does not convert between capacity bases. Use the capacity basis converter for that.
- It does not give a price. Configuration and price come back in a written quotation.
