Leafy Line Capacity Tier Fit Estimator

Capacity is quoted in kilograms of infeed per hour, but you buy against finished packs per day. This estimator converts your daily plan into the infeed rate a leafy fresh-cut line has to hold, then shows which of the three standard tiers absorbs it.

Your production plan

Exclude start-up, wash-down and the sanitation window.
Each changeover costs line time you still have to make up.
The packing station sets the pace the wash line has to match.
Infeed has to be larger than output by exactly this margin.

Enter your plan on the left. The estimate returns the required infeed rate, the tier that carries it, how much headroom is left in that tier, and the figures a supplier still has to confirm in writing before the rate means anything.

Method: infeed rate = daily finished weight ÷ yield factor ÷ productive hours, multiplied by a changeover factor and a pack-format factor. Those two factors are planning allowances published on this page so you can audit the arithmetic; they are not performance data measured on any specific machine. Treat the output as a shortlist filter, not a quotation.
