How these numbers are worked out

Peak hourly flow is daily intake divided by the production hours you entered, which is the figure the balance tank, separator and pasteuriser are selected against. Working volume per vessel is one production hour of that route’s flow rounded up to the next 500 litre step, then carrying a 15 per cent headspace allowance. Clean-in-place circuits are one shared front-end circuit plus one for each route in the split. These are planning figures for scoping a layout; the specification we quote comes back in writing once an engineer has your floor plan, utilities and pack format.
