Batch-or-Continuous Crossover Point

Three numbers decide whether a pet jerky drying line is built from batch chambers or from a continuous mesh belt dryer: your daily target output, the shifts you can staff, and the usable length of your building.

The model behind the answer

Declared worksheet assumptions, not supplier commitments: a KHG-7 chamber is taken at a 500 kg load, one 12-hour drying cycle is assumed to fit inside one staffed 12-hour shift, and no more than two cycles are counted in a day. A continuous belt dryer body needs a clear 6 m run before infeed and discharge. Batch-per-day figures derived this way are an engineering estimate. A committed capacity figure is issued only against your product and shift pattern.
