Line Utilities and Footprint Worksheet
Two questions decide whether a freeze-drying line drops into your building: what the incoming supply has to carry, and how much floor the equipment needs once you add working clearance. This worksheet takes both from figures you enter, so it works for our models and for equipment you already own.

The annual figure assumes a 0.7 load factor over 20 hours a day, 300 days a year. Change the connected load to see how it moves.

What this worksheet assumes
- Full-load current uses the standard three-phase relation: kilowatts divided by the product of root three, line voltage and power factor. Nothing is added for starting current or cable derating.
- Footprint is the equipment rectangle grown by the clearance you enter on all four sides. It does not reserve a door swing, a panel access zone or a trolley staging lane.
- The annual consumption estimate is a planning figure at a 0.7 load factor. Real consumption follows your cycle and your product.
- Anything above 1000 kW or with a zero voltage returns nothing rather than a number that looks usable.
These figures are for a first conversation with your electrical contractor and your layout planner. We issue the foundation and utility drawings for the actual line once the model and station list are fixed.
